LINGUIST RECRUITMENT PROCESS - TEST EVALUATION
Completed tests are then sent to Skrivanek’s Senior Reviewers who possess a minimum of five years translating experience and have been trained thoroughly in translator evaluation. What they look for is mastery of grammar, vocabulary and spelling, along with a strong understanding of style, form, layout and technical processing. Those applicants who demonstrate perfect command of the language(s) being tested are invited to join Skrivanek’s ever-growing team while those who fall short of our expectations and requirements receive an extensive outline detailing the reasons for their not being accepted.
LINGUIST RECRUITMENT PROCESS - ACCEPTANCE
Then the approved translator is entered into a database of suppliers – he/she undergoes a trial period and performance is watched carefully. He must prove his potential. If his results are not of an acceptable quality, he will be dropped from the database.
LINGUIST REGULAR TESTING
All of our employees and vendors are regularly tested and trained so that a high level of linguistic and technical expertise is maintained.
